How to Become Certified

We are so excited that you want to volunteer with kids or students at Mount Olivet! Every volunteer, staff, and pastor at Mount Olivet must be certified in our Child & Youth Protection Policy. To become certified, follow the steps below:

1. Complete our Volunteer Application for youth or adult. This needs to be done annually.

2. Adults must complete a background check authorization form. These are available in the church office or from your ministry leader. This form needs to be done every 3 years.

3. Watch our Child & Youth Protection Training Video. This is required every year for all volunteers, as well as for new volunteers.

4. Complete the Child & Youth Protection Policy Questionnaire. This is required every year for all volunteers and for new volunteers.

You will receive an email confirmation of your certification after we have processed your form. Thank you!
